Our Team

Founded in 1971, Simplex Industries is a highly experienced builder with numerous national building and design awards, including awards for Green construction. While experience may belong to a corporation, expertise lies within its personnel. Simplex is proud of the expertise our key personnel bring to the Multi-Family Division. In addition to the knowledge they bring to their current positions, most began their careers in the modular industry on the shop floor.

Patrick A. Fricchione, Jr.
General Partner / CEO

Pat Fricchione is CEO and General Partner at Simplex. He represents the second generation of family leadership of the company founded by his father and uncles. Pat began his career on the shop floor and has worked in almost every division of the company.

Under Pat’s leadership, Simplex has grown in to a nationally recognized, high quality modular builder with a reputation for technical innovation.

Pat is a hands-on leader. When asked about the developments he is most proud of, he cited the Simplex commitment to Multi-Family and the commitment to think beyond traditional modular building techniques when working with customers. “The ability to rethink/re-engineer our business to build multi-million-dollar townhomes in Philadelphia and beyond, large scale student housing, very large-scale residential developments and more have revolutionized Simplex. We are attracting non-traditional modular customers who see our industry as supplying a superior building method that will take them from planning to revenue generation faster than any other method. It’s very satisfying to have emerged as a leader in this field.”

Pat Fricchione has served as Chairman of the Building Systems Council (a division of the National Association of Home Builders). He has also served as the President of the Modular Building Systems Association. Pat is the immediate past Chairman of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, President of the Scranton Half Marathon and serves on the Board of The Women’s Resource Center of Northeast PA

President

Dave Boniello is President of Simplex Industries.

Dave comes to his latest leadership position with over three and a half decades of industry experience, most of that with Simplex.

Dave Boniello has been a leading proponent of embracing technology and changing industry processes that have allowed Simplex to offer the value and superior construction advantages of modular to those who have traditionally been non-modular customers. The company points to success with large multi-family projects completed in Philadelphia, Newark and suburban New York City as examples where Simplex changed their engineering approach, design and manufacturing systems to adapt to the needs of non-traditional customers. Embracing change and adapting to marketplace needs are credited with allowing Simplex to grow rapidly in recent years and to enter new markets.

Dave Boniello has had a hand in every large-scale project at Simplex for decades.
His work with companies such as Westrum Development, Georgica Green, The Community Builders and many more have highlighted his career.

Dave says a continued embrace of reexamining all Simplex’s methods and adapting to the needs of large-scale developers as well as single-family home builders will mark his tenure as President. He urges those who have not previously considered modular to meet with him and his team to discuss their needs and to learn how Simplex can move them from planning to grand opening faster than any other process – while improving quality and often offering significant development savings.

Dave Boniello has been highly active at his alma mater, Johnson College in
Scranton, PA. During his tenure as a board member, he became the first graduate to lead the College as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dave was also a 5 year member of the Lackawanna Home Builders Association and acted as Vice President in his final 2 years on the board.
